The Braeburn 119106 Static Pressure Bypass Damper is designed to maintain proper static pressure within zoned HVAC systems by automatically relieving excess air pressure at the supply plenum. This mechanical bypass damper operates without wiring, sensors, or electrical power, making it a reliable and economical alternative to motorized bypass dampers.
Using a field-adjustable weighted arm, the damper automatically regulates airflow as zone dampers open and close, helping reduce system noise, prevent duct stress, and protect HVAC equipment from excessive static pressure buildup.
